Despite their bad reputation, microbes are mostly beneficial or have a neutral effect on our lives. Microbiology is the scientific study of these micro-organism. Microorganisms are those organisms that are too small to see with the naked eyes and things like bacteria, fungi and viruses. The department imparts academic training to 2nd BDS students in the subject of General Microbiology orienting them to become good academicians & Researchers.

I am the head of the department of general microbiology since last 10 years. Department ensures adequate complete academic training to Dental students making them confident and efficient to cope with future Global scenario. With the continued efforts of sub-ordinates we have achieved Honors in Microbiology I look forward to continue this Endeavour to strengthen my Department.
